California does not provide the general public with a statewide criminal-history name search. Ventura County readers instead match each question to its custodian. The Sheriff maintains jail and booking material, Ventura Superior Court holds charge and disposition files, and California DOJ supplies subject-only fingerprint record review. CDCR and the California Megan’s Law Website cover separate state functions. We organize verified contact details, request steps, portal limits, and fees for these distinct offices.

- We cannot retrieve a person’s criminal record or conduct an official check
- We cannot offer legal advice about a charge, sentence, or individual case
- We cannot promise that an agency’s hours, fees, or contact details have not changed
An official copy must come from its custodian, such as Ventura Superior Court, the Sheriff, a city police department, or California DOJ.
