Ventura County Public Access Portal
The Ventura Superior Court Public Access portal is a second court channel. It requires an account and limits information under California Rules of Court 2.501 and 2.503. It is not a no-login name search and should not be confused with the Criminal/Traffic Case Information Search.

Older Ventura County Criminal Files
An empty online result does not prove that no Ventura County criminal court case exists. The database date limits leave older municipal and felony records outside full online coverage. Name-search limits imposed after All of Us or None v. Hamrick also mean date of birth cannot narrow a common name.
Superior Court Records accepts in-person or written search requests at Hall of Justice, Room 218, 800 South Victoria Avenue, Ventura, CA 93009. The search fee is $15, with no more than 15 names per request. A mail request should include payment and a self-addressed stamped envelope. Call 805-289-8668 for records information. If the goal is a specific filed document or certified copy, identify the case number and document as closely as possible.

How a Ventura Criminal Case Moves

Ventura Court Technology Changes
Ventura Superior Court redesigned its public website in 2025, while the criminal and traffic search remained on the older Court Services interface. The split explains why a reader may move between sites that look unrelated.
